Travelling Donors
If you select to donate in ALL Areas (not just your home town); you would be an “Out of Town Donor” - Travelling Donor
Nurture collaborates with clinics in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, and Gqeberha. If you're chosen to be a travelling donor, you'll travel to one of these cities. We cover all egg donor travel support, including flights, transportation, and accommodations, at our expense. You'll also receive a daily allowance during your time away.
We work with reputable egg donor clinics throughout South Africa. Together with the fabulous doctors and co-ordinators whom we have worked with for many years (and who we adore), you will be well looked after in typical Nurture fashion!
How It Would Work Being an Out of Town Donor
Upon selection, you would be flown to the host city ( Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, or Gqeberha) for a day to do the medical and psychological screenings. Generally, you fly in on the morning of your appointments and go back home the same day.
If all is okay with those results, the actual donation will be planned for 6 to 8 weeks after your initial screening. Please be aware that during the actual donation process, you will be away from home, university, or work for a minimum of 10 days. A clinic-provided doctor's letter covers your absence from home or work, ensuring peace of mind for travelling donors
