Tertia Albertyn
Tertia founded Nurture in 2008 with a simple goal: to make the egg donation journey more compassionate, ethical and better supported for both donors and recipient parents. After 9 IVF cycles and years of infertility herself, she understands the emotional realities behind every enquiry that comes through Nurture. Today, she leads the organisation’s strategy, quality standards and partnerships, drawing on more than 18 years of experience in egg donation and infertility advocacy. Her leadership ensures every family and every donor experiences the professionalism, integrity and personalised support that have become synonymous with Nurture.

Kim Lazarus
Senior Director – Frozen Egg Bank Programs
Kim leads Nurture’s local and international Frozen Egg Bank Programs. With a background in psychology, more than 17 years in the fertility industry and 17 IVF cycles of her own, she combines professional expertise with genuine understanding of the challenges recipient parents face. Kim oversees the coordination and growth of our frozen egg bank programs, ensuring every donor journey is carefully managed and every recipient receives the highest standard of support throughout the process.

Bronwyn Hockly
Recipient Support Lead
Bronwyn leads Nurture’s Recipient Support team, helping intended parents navigate the deeply personal journey of choosing an egg donor. A former egg donor herself, with extensive experience coordinating third-party reproduction at a leading fertility clinic, she understands both sides of the donation process. Bronwyn’s knowledge, reassurance and practical guidance help recipient parents feel informed, supported and confident throughout one of the most important decisions they will ever make.

Carla Cheyne
Donor Quality Lead
Carla leads Nurture’s donor quality process, ensuring every donor profile meets our exceptionally high standards for accuracy, completeness, and presentation. She works closely with our donor administration team to make sure recipient parents receive clear, detailed, and reliable information about every donor on our database. Her meticulous attention to detail helps recipient parents make one of the most important decisions of their lives with confidence.

Donor Support
Based in Gauteng, Louise supports egg donors throughout every stage of their donation journey. Louise combines her background in education with personal experience to help donors feel informed, confident and genuinely supported from their first appointment through to egg retrieval.

Donor Support
Based in Cape Town, Adriana supports donors with the reassurance that comes from personal experience, having donated three times herself. With a background in education and a passion for helping others, she enjoys guiding young women through every stage of the donation process, answering their questions and helping them feel comfortable and well prepared. Donor Applications Coordinator
AJ is often the first person prospective egg donors meet when they begin their journey with Nurture. She guides applicants through the sign-up process, helping them complete detailed, accurate donor profiles while answering questions and providing support along the way. Nicole is responsible for ensuring every donor profile reflects the high standards Nurture is known for. With years of administrative experience and over 35 years of “mom experience,” she carefully reviews each profile to ensure it is accurate, complete and beautifully presented. Her attention to detail helps recipient parents access clear, reliable information when choosing their donor, while her thoughtful approach ensures every donor feels valued and respected throughout the profiling process.
