Tertia Albertyn Founder & Director
Tertia is the founder of Nurture - South Africa’s most successful Egg Donation Program. An accomplished speaker and an award-winning published author, she is highly regarded in South Africa and internationally for the work she does in infertility advocacy and egg donation. Tertia is a seasoned infertility veteran. In the five years, nine IVFs and many losses it took to conceive her children, she has seen and done it all. Tertia has taken her experiences as an infertility veteran and channeled them into something positive for others. In 2007, she co-founded South Africa’s biggest infertility support portal, and in 2008 she launched Nurture, the country’s premier Egg Donor Program (www.nurture.co.za). An award-winning blogger and published author, her book ‘So Close’ based on her infertility journey was published in 2006. Tertia was recognized by the renowned international organization RESOLVE in 2011 in New York for her outstanding contribution to the family-building community. Tertia lives in Cape Town and has a PDM from Wits Business School and an MBA from the University of Cape Town.

Kim Lazarus Senior Director
Kim is the Director of our local and international Frozen Egg Bank Program. She is also our Recipient Support person for the Western Cape. ,With a degree in Psychology, 17 of her own IVF’s under her belt, and over 16 years experience in the industry, she is well qualified to provide care, support and a hand to hold to our recipient parents. Kim has worked with recipients and intended parents for over 16 years, helping close to 5000 recipients find their perfect donor and their happy ever after.

Bronwyn Hockly Recipient Support Lead
Bronwyn is our Recipient Support person for Gauteng, KZN, Free State and North West. Although born and raised a small-town girl, Bronwyn now lives in Johannesburg. She is a former egg donor herself having donated a few times successfully, and has over 5 years of experience working for a leading Fertility Clinic in South Africa as a Donor & Recipient Co-Ordinator, assisting patients with all forms of third party conception (egg donors, sperm donors and donor embryos).

Anica Taljaard Marketing & Social Media Lead
Anica is our Marketing & Social Media Lead, and the creative force behind much of what you see online from Nurture. She is responsible for sharing the message of egg donation far and wide, creating engaging content, managing our social media platforms, and dreaming up smart, fun ways to connect with potential egg donors.
With her background in education and her natural gift for nurturing, Anica is often the first point of contact for many of our donors - guiding them through the application process and answering any questions they may have. Whether she’s creating TikToks or replying to DMs, she does it all with heart, care and dedication.

Carla Cheyne Donor Quality Lead
Carla has been working in Online Sales for most of her life, but her heart has always yearned for a role where she could truly make a difference - especially in the medical and fertility space. She believes she’s now exactly where she’s meant to be, doing the work she was destined for.
She is passionate about supporting others, and no challenge is too great for her.
As Donor Quality Lead, Carla ensures that every donor profile meets Nurture’s high standards of quality, completeness, and accuracy. She oversees the full donor application journey - guiding and supporting our team in presenting each donor in the best possible light, so that only the most well-prepared, high-quality profiles make it onto our donor database.

Louise Stowman Donor Support
Louise is a happy, outgoing girl with a golden heart and a passion for lending a hand to others. She wants to leave a trail of kindness, love, and light everywhere she goes. After working for eight years in the educational field, Louise has chosen to enter the medical world, where she hopes to empower families and improve lives one egg at a time.
Louise is thrilled to continue sharing the love by assisting other young women in discovering the benefits and joys of egg donation. She herself is a four-time egg donor, so she has first-hand experience of the very rewarding journey of being an egg donor. To Louise giving an egg is not simply a biological procedure but also a very personal means of giving hope and happiness to those who are desiring to become parents. She is here to help you on your journey as a donor, ensuring that you feel heard and cared for every step of the way.

Adriana Fernandes Donor Support
Adriana is our Donor Support person based in Cape Town. A former egg donor herself, having donated three times previously, she brings personal experience and a heartfelt understanding to the role. With 9 years of experience in education, Adriana recognizes the incredible blessing that children bring to families. She is passionate about helping others achieve their dreams of parenthood and feels honored to be part of that life-changing process. Adriana lives in Strand, surrounded by her beloved fur and feather babies.
